Above Ground Storage Tank, Robotic Inspections – US Manufacturer of Robots and Technology for Above Ground Storage Tanks

Incorporated in 2018, by its CEO, Marius Aben , with the objective and vision to design, manufacture and support of Tank and Pipe technologies. To date we have manufactured and locally assembled a good number of robots and Purge Control Systems. We are 100 % independent and looking for Investors, partners and agents to actively develop this market and sell our systems with our full support. This includes, but is not limited to: local assembly, educate, instruct, present, hire/support the right personnel, stock spares, assist with any required certifications, Documentations, direct/coordinate/assist with your local workshop, Marketing and Sales.

Inspection and Cleaning Robot (Customized Manufacturing in Houston)

Inspection robots are used for above storage tank floor cleaning, visual inspection, and ultrasonic floor thickness and corrosion inspection. The materials used are Alloy metals and all is manufactured locally in Houston Texas. All Engineering, design and drawings are under our own control. We have not allowed any 3d party to copy any details for any other reason than the production of one or more specific part(s).

Engineered Robotics Inspection Robot launched from tank rooftop. Location Abqaiq Saudi Arabia. November 2019.

The size of the robot deck is 580 mm by 295 mm and 12.50 mm thick. The wheels are 254 mm in diameter. These sizes are determined by the access dimensions to the tank and the peripheral devices, mounted onto the Robot.

The basic system consists of the Robot frame, a cable bundle (Umbilical) with multiple cables, A frame/Tripod with winch to lower the robot in the tank, Main controller unit, two tethered hand held controllers (One for the PTZ Quick look camera and one for the motor controls) and spares. Umbilical rack and trailer or truck for the system, can and should be build, sourced, adapted locally.

Additionally, a Purge Control System can, and should be, used

Peripheral devises, included in the system are:

An EX PTZ Quick Observation camera and light system, This system is used before deploying the robot and considered a stand alone (One additional PTZ Quick Look camera is included as spare)

  • Sonar system (One additional sonar is included as spare)
  • Multiple smart Robot camera’s and lights
  • Submersible sump pump.
  • Ultrasonic Scanner and 8 transducers
  • Buoyancy sections, with compressor and regulators.

Electric Robot is currently certified to work in the following products.

  • Condensate
